Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ELV Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, with expertise in Structured Cabling, ICT, CCTV, Intercom, Gate Barrier Systems, Access Control Systems (ACS), Audio-Visual (AV) Systems and other ELV solutions. Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), Parking Management Systems (PMS), or Lighting Control Systems (LCS) is advantageous. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the UAE. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage ELV projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • System Design & Implementation: Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of Structured Cabling, CCTV, ICT, Gate Barrier Systems, ACS, Intercom, SMATV and AV Systems. 
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ELV systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
  • Client Coordination: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, provide expert advice, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including design plans, progress reports, and operation manuals.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years working in the UAE in the ELV industry, with proven experience in CCTV, Gate Barrier Systems, ACS, SMATV, Intercom and AV Systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of ELV systems, with advantageous knowledge in BMS, Parking Management Systems, or Lighting Control Systems.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, vendors and team members.
  • Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is preferred.

He or she will work closely with clients to understand their needs, propose suitable ELV solutions, and manage the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base.
  • Identify and qualify sales leads through market research, networking, and prospecting activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to position the company as a preferred ELV solutions provider.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop customized ELV solutions that meet client requirements and specifications.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Actively manage the sales pipeline and forecast accurately to senior management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the ELV space.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, in the ELV industry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in UAE market.
  • Deep understanding of ELV technologies, including security systems, access control, CCTV, gate barriers, structured cabling, audiovisual, BMS & PMS.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
